The Department of Ophthalmology at Mimi Hospital provides both general and specialized eye care services. Our experienced and highly trained Consultant offers expert treatment for a wide range of eye conditions. The department is equipped with advanced diagnostic and therapeutic technologies, including an argon laser for diabetic eye disease management and computerized visual field analyzers for glaucoma assessment.

Our Consultant, trained in optometry, also assists with accurate prescription of eyeglasses for both adults and children. All surgeries are performed in the hospital’s state-of-the-art operating theatres. More than 90% of the procedures are day-care surgeries, requiring no hospital admission. The surgical unit is fully equipped with a phaco-emulsification machine for modern small-incision cataract surgery.
